We are pleased to announce that a set of karaoke singing equipment has been installed inside the school's Dance Studio (unit 04-04 at the Primary Section). It is now ready for use by our alumni and staff of the school alike.

The *rules* (subject to improvements by CHA from time to time)* for the use of the karaoke equipment* are as follows:

1. Eligibility of Use
For a start, all old boys are welcomed to enjoy the facility, but *CHA members* will enjoy priority in booking.

2. Dress Code
All users must be properly attired, e.g. collared T shirts, long pants, shoes (no short pants and slippers)

3. Availability of Use
Initially, the facility is only available for use on Saturdays between 10.00 am and 2.30 pm.

4. Walk in
Due to the lack of a volunteer KJ, *each booking is limited to the use of the entire facility*, i.e. *no walk-in users could be entertained.*

5. Keeping the room Neat and Tidy
The alumni who booked the facility would be responsible for checking that the facility is in working order before the start as well as at the end of the session. He is also to ensure that the room is left in a tidy state at the end of the session.

6. Record Book
For better accountability, a record book would be provided in the room for all alumni users to write down their names, contact nos. and year of graduation from Catholic High.

7. Food And Drinks are Strictly Prohibited
No food is to be consumed in the room. (Only water should be consumed inside)

8. Booking Fees
The fee is set at $40 for each block of 4 and a half hour session. Note: This fee is collected to partly reimburse the school for use of the air-conditioning and partly to buy packet / bottled mineral water and VCD/DVDs discs if any balance is available) The *procedure of booking* is as laid down below.

For a limited time only, booking fees have been reduced to $15 per 4.5 hrs block.

a) You, the interested alumni contact the CHA Secretariat (contact person: Ms. Doris Tan) either via This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or telephone (65340854) indicating your wish to book the room, latest by Wednesday of the week.

b) Doris will inform you before end of Friday (the same week) whether the booking is available for your use.

c) An email will be sent to you, confirming that your booking request is successful. This email will also contain a payment request for the amount of $40.00 for the booking of the room.

You can make payment using your PayPal Account or using your Credit Card by following the instructions in the email.

d) Upon receipt of your payment, Doris will tell you 2 sets of numbers for unlocking two combination locks (one for the Dance Studio room door and the other for the wooden cabinet inside the room where the karaoke equipment is kept). You will open the room and cabinet with the numbers given and lock up same after the singing session.

e) Due to copyright laws, we request that you Bring Your Own Songs. Kindly bring your own discs, DVDs or VCDs are playable.
